Tinder is trialling a new ID and photo verification characteristic in Australia and New Zealand. The new system encourages people to submit a movie selfie and a legitimate ID doc, adopted by additional photo verification.

Tinder introduced that this demo will emphasis on date of delivery and likeness checks as security enhancements. 

Customers are requested to post a video selfie and a legitimate Driver’s License or Passport. From there, the courting platform will check that the movie selfie matches the photo from the ID and the photos on the user’s profile.
