An inner memo from Match Group has revealed options for a new workforce focusing on generative AI and other emerging technologies. Referred to as the ‘Art x Science Lab’, the team will be formed of engineers and designers, and led by Mark Kantor, Vice President of Innovation.
In a memo acquired by Mashable, Will Wu, Match Group’s Main Technology Officer, highlighted that the title ‘Art x Science Lab’ can be shortened to ASL. This is an homage to the common on line chatting acronym for “age/sexual intercourse/location’

The Hyperconnect brand was also described as a source of tech development, with the Asia-primarily based organisation providing “a significant workforce of talented AI engineers which we’re leveraging to push a selection of important AI-similar initiatives throughout the portfolio”, the letter shared.
